POSITION: Managing Director – West Africa

Role Overview:
We are looking for a visionary and dynamic Managing Director to oversee operations throughout West Africa. This critical function entails extending the company’s regional presence, generating innovation, and ensuring that our products match changing market demands. You will lead a diverse and agile team to shape the region’s digital payment future.
Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement growth initiatives for West Africa that are consistent with our overall business objectives.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and devise successful entrance methods.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a diverse team, establish performance objectives, provide feedback, and promote professional development.
- Operational Management: Monitor the performance of Country General Managers and Regional Heads to ensure efficient operations and alignment with strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain excellent working connections with regulators, industry partners, and clients. - Foster an innovative culture to ensure that our Fintech solutions are ahead of industry trends and technical improvements.
Requirements:
- Experience: 15 years or more in fintech or digital payments, with a track record of strategic leadership, market expansion, and stakeholder management.
- Leadership: At least 10 years of experience in senior executive roles, including leading diverse teams and managing difficult projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, information technology, or a related subject. Advanced degrees, including an MBA, are recommended.
