ROLE: Customer Service and Credit Risk Analyst
Purpose of Role:
To help the E2EC Africa Lead and the local Finance and Sales Directors improve the end-to-end OTC process so that the business can get more value out of it. This job also involves bringing up risks and finding ways to deal with them. This will be done by making a great OTC process with strong controls, the least amount of manual work, and deals that are done right the first time.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance and Taking Care of Risks
- Monitoring of needed OTC’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and trends to improve market performance and change course when necessary to ensure the best possible performance.
- Watch over the amount in the Sales Ledger and the profile of old debts. Manage timely cash receipts and the achievement of goals by working with the Credit team in SSC and markets. Helps with money for preparing for and going to steering committee meetings when necessary.
- Review of sales invoiced vs. physical things shipped, Shipments vs. Depletions, to figure out what credible SIT levels for full and empty should be in order to reduce credit risk but improve growth potential.
- Supplying OTC financial information on an as-needed basis to top management and making sure that GGB plc has an Order Management control environment that is CARM-compliant.
- Helping top management and internal and external auditors with questions about OTC processes and how they are carried out.
- If a customer’s account is closed, you’re in charge of getting the things back. You’re also in charge of settling up with customers as needed.
Customer interactions and partnering
- End-to-end oversight of customer problem resolution and partner concern point for order and return management, etc., to make sure customers are happy and service levels are high.
- Customers’ sales, payment, and default patterns, as well as their emptiness management patterns, are looked at and dealt with on a monthly basis. Customers who are in trouble or who are a high risk, as well as customers who have a lot of growth potential, are given priority.
- Give your customers help and advice on important business choices.
Needed qualifications and experience
- Shown skills in the FMCG industry
- Strong customer service skills and a focus on service.
- Proven ability to build and lead teams
- Shown how to handle collaborators
- Shown that they can stand up for business values.
- At least three years of experience in a commercial setting, helping to bring about business growth.
- Has a lot of information about money and is willing to improve day-to-day
- Has good skills with people and talking to them
- Ability to look at numbers and understand how they affect business
- Makes suggestions on how to improve business success and reach business goals.
- Solution-oriented
