POSITION: Service Manager
Purpose
In charge of operations related to the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported concerns.
Experience and Qualifications
- Technical qualifications are required.
- 5–6 years of experience are required.
Responsibilities
- Drive considerable growth and profitability while keeping costs under control.
- Through proactive, imaginative, and suitable solutions, provide great service that surpasses customers’ expectations.
- Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including end-users, subject matter experts, project managers, and senior staff.
- Retain customers by managing the service breakdown activities outlined in the Service Operations Plan.
- Resolve all client inquiries quickly and within agreed-upon timeframes.
- Prepare professional-quality business communications.
- Perform an internal root cause analysis to present it to the relevant stakeholders and facilitate the process of designing and implementing appropriate remedies to repair the problem.
- Comply with governance obligations in terms of legislation and auditing.
- Create and put in place frameworks, processes, rules, and procedures to enable root cause analysis as a business discipline.
- Improve corporate decisions by delivering accurate and dependable business intelligence (information) as well as trend and data analysis.
- Manage one’s development to improve one’s competencies.
- Plan and manage team performance, skill development, employment equity, talent, and culture to promote innovation, efficiency, and competency.
