POSITION: Procurement Specialist

About the job
- To gain targeted business clients, actively optimize pipelines and source fresh leads until they become engaged.
- Responsible for travelling door-to-door and dealing directly with a firm’s suppliers to ensure the company has the necessary materials to conduct business.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct market research (analyse the competitive landscape, the effectiveness of sales methods, etc.).
- Work closely with the regional team to grasp the specifics of procurement requirements.
- Coordinate with the logistics and operations teams to collect raw materials from vendors.
- Identify sources of goods and services.
- Negotiate conditions with suppliers, including pricing, product quality, timeframes, and expectations.
- Recommend new products, services, or materials that align with industry trends.
- Manage daily interactions with suppliers and field buying executives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Field
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Advanced maths.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment and being a motivated team member
