POSITION: Head of Sales Capability

The purpose of the role
The Commercial Capability Manager’s duty is to increase capability and impact total-commercial outcomes by exhibiting commercial capability tools and curricula. It will manage the commercial capability execution plan in collaboration with major markets, which will include developing local faculties by educating and coaching commercial executives, executing learning events and programs, and accompanying and accrediting salespeople.
Top 3–5 Accountabilities
- Developing a commercial capabilities execution plan in collaboration with key markets, including selecting and phasing programs.
- Developing local commercial leaders as instructors through training, coaching, and accreditation programs.
- Collaborate with local faculty to build a worldwide commercial curriculum that aligns with market roadmaps and ensures basic market standards.
- Global standards, and guaranteeing that sales representatives and management are accredited in accordance with targets.
- Implement the 70:20:10 model to promote behaviour change and ensure strong follow-through on learning events through local coaching and on-the-job training
- Collaborates with the worldwide commercial team to enhance and optimize learning content for its intended purpose.
Qualifications & Experience
- The commercial capability manager will be qualified to teach, facilitate, and coach.
- Accredit at least one, ideally two, and possibly three from: Field Sales / Customer Management & Customer Marketing.
Therefore, every manager must
- Have considerable experience across numerous retail channels (at least in both online and offline)
- Trade at a minimum.
- Held a multitude of commercial responsibilities, including customer management, customer marketing,
- They will be responsible for field sales as well as at least two administrative jobs in the faculty area.
- Must have had a team management position and demonstrated their ability to establish high-performing teams
- Be an accomplished and proven coach (coaching qualifications are not required).
- Outgoing and natural communicator with the capacity to quickly develop strong networks.
- Influence and coordination capabilities across numerous markets with cultural awareness,
- Ability to change style.
- A passionate, engaging leader, capable of leading emotionally and causing instant
- Connect with the credibility to educate and coach both upwards and downwards.
- Ability to articulate the organization’s strategic business priorities and their impact on learning and development.
