Job Description.

We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to join our team. As Programmes Manager, you will be in charge of designing, developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating our programmes aimed at promoting the rights and inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ghana in accordance with the organization’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, motivate, and lead a high-performing team of project staff and specialist consultants.
- Direct, plan, and organize the activities of the program personnel, which includes supervision and assessment, training, and team development.
- Responsible for designing and developing IG initiatives and programmes.
- Responsible for the effective administration of all project operations and resources (human, financial, physical/material assets, etc.) in order to achieve desired results.
- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual activity work plans, as well as budgets based on projected year-end results.
- Prepare qualitative and financial progress reports as needed by the project. Prepare budget modifications as necessary.
- Analyse program implementation trends, discover and develop program-related concerns, and offer remedies to management.
- Support the organization’s fundraising endeavours.
Required Skill or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in sociology, psychology, social work, or a similar subject.
- A professional certification in project management will be advantageous.
- Five years of full-time experience working with families with disabled children, gained after completing a degree.
- Experience with project management.
- Demonstrated experience directing improvement projects.
Knowledge
- A high level of understanding and skill with any project management software.
- A high degree of understanding and skill in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- A solid understanding of the Logical Frame for project creation and monitoring.

- Well-presented, with strong communication and bargaining abilities.

- Experience providing general support to a small team, as well as being an experienced team player.
- Can work independently, effectively handling workloads without constant coaching.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and the ability to analyse and address circumstances.
- Excellent quality, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Excellent numerical skills.
