POSITION: Graphic Design Trainer

Description of Role

This is an in-person position for a Graphic Design Trainer at OpenLabs Ghana, located in Kumasi. The Graphic Design Instructor will be tasked with conducting training sessions, creating educational materials, and offering advice on graphic design, visual communication, and typography. The position includes direct teaching and guiding students in the principles and techniques of graphic design.

Duties:

• Create and provide graphic design classes.
• Offer individualized assistance to learners.
• Oversee and uphold our graphic design program.
• Keep informed about the newest trends in graphic design.
• Establish and uphold an encouraging educational atmosphere.
• Work together with fellow team members to guarantee the success of our graphic design initiative.

Requirements

• Visual and Graphic Design abilities
• Skills in Visual Communication and Web Design
• Typography abilities
• Expertise in producing captivating and impactful visual materials.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team and guide students.
• Expertise in graphic design applications/tools
• Appropriate certification or degree in Graphic Design or a related area
