Job Summary
Manage the creation and implementation of plans for the SME segment. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a team of Segment Sales Controllers to recruit, grow revenue, and retain corporate customers while also improving their overall customer experience. Additionally, to make suggestions for SME strategic planning, products, go-to-market (GMT), and partnerships.

Job Role
- Manage the implementation of strategies that will help MTN expand its business in the SME market.
- Manage the delivery of an integrated business solution tailored to the SME segment.
- Sell end-to-end mobile voice, mobile data, ICT services, mobile financial services, and new services as they become available.
- Ensure that a team of Segment Sales Controllers is effectively managed in order to regularly meet company targets.
- Proactively identify and develop channel and product innovation to sustain business growth in the SME market.
- Provide support to all Business Customers in the Segment.
- Identify major opportunities and competitor knowledge to help drive product and service innovation in the segment.
- Proactively support debt collection to maintain a healthy account status.
- Manage customer visits with key personnel to provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure that the team is using critical business tools to help with customer service and sales.
- Analyze data and reports to make decisions.
- Create and implement an annual account management plan for the segment.
Education
- Minimum of a first-year degree in business, marketing, or project management
- Experience A minimum of five years of relevant experience, three of which should have been in a supervisory role
Professional/technical competencies:
- Knowledge of rival products and market trends.
- Product knowledge and sales strategies
- Knowledge of sales and marketing
- Experience with business development, industry and market knowledge, and product/service knowledge.
