Uprise Travel Ltd. (Accra) is looking for a dedicated and hardworking professional to fill the position of Marketing Coordinator. Both full-time and part-time (2-4 days per week) applicants will be evaluated. The salary will be commensurate with experience.
Job Responsibilities
The following are the job requirements:
- Create and schedule social media content for all platforms.
- Set and meet social media growth targets.
- Create and upload material on Uprise Travel’s blog.
- Created and edited video content for Uprise Travel’s various platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Launched Uprise Travel’s TikTok account.
- Managed and tracked inventory of images.
● Managed email outreach to past Uprise clients. - Created pre-trip content for potential clients.
- Monitoring news and media coverage on Ghana tourism.
- Assisting with backend website upgrades and updates.
- Taking on other projects as needed.
Qualification and Experience Required
- The ideal applicant would have a broad range of talents in storytelling, marketing, and design. This is a multidisciplinary post. Ideal qualities include strong English writing skills, a knack for narrative, and the ability to quickly master new skills such as social media planning, email marketing, and video editing.
- Excellent design skills, including photography and video editing.
- A diploma or higher education certificate (DBS, HND, or Degree) in tourism or related disciplines.
- Two years of experience in marketing, social media outreach, graphic design, journalism, or related fields.
- Comprehensive understanding of Ghana’s tourist attractions and offerings.
- Located in the Greater Accra Region, with convenient access to Nungua-Spintex.
