POSITION: Mining Lubricants Engineer

The key distinctions among the different brands primarily stem from the variations in how they communicate Product Superiority and Technical Support, which assist the Marketing Teams in promoting products.
This role identifies growth potential in the lubricant sector and offers sales, marketing, and technical assistance to enhance lubricant sales in the B2B market.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties of the position holder encompass:
- Advancement of lubricant sales in the mining sector via:
- Delivery of lubrication technical support to Mining Clients during planned visits and upon requests from customers or approved resellers;
- Provide training for Mining Clients, contractors, and Mining Depot personnel.
- Utilize any available digital tools: Salsa, E-learning, E-lube, etc.
- Engage in the execution of ongoing enhancement procedures (Encompasses product updates, evaluation of ANAC reports for essential samples, and suggestions).
- Perform lubrication evaluations on new mining clients and revise the previous survey documents.
- Monitor competitors’ tactics to assist LSM/LM in adjusting the suitable strategy.
- Identify potential mining clients, track competitor actions, submit customer complaints with an appropriate resolution timeline, and report on risks in the mining industry.
- Compile monthly sales performance reports for mines and track trends in lubricant sales to mining customers.
- Engaging proactively in reaching margin and operating income goals:
- Accountability for boosting lubricant sales and achieving margin targets within the mining sector.
- Contribute to the development of offers/proposals for potential clients while performing margin analysis.
- Automotive electronics
- Enhance post-sale support by:
- Oversee ANAC service provision, seek new clients, and create ANAC debit note memos.
- Examine customer oil analysis reports and suggest corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Chemistry or Engineering, ideally in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petrochemical fields, with a minimum of three (3) years of industrial experience in Lubes/Tribology.
- Capability for performance monitoring and measurement through ongoing KPI implementation and reporting.
- Robust enthusiasm for collaboration with a knack for synthesizing and prioritizing tasks, distributing essential resources, and a focus on creative solutions.
- Customer-focused with outstanding communication abilities.
