Multi-Skilled Bolt Torquing Technician Jobs At Southey Contracting LTD
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs onsite bolting, torque, and tension services on various bolted applications such as flanges, heat exchanger units, turbine shells, and other equipment.
- Troubleshoots onsite bolting equipment and determines proper bolting methods to meet customer needs and specific applications.
- Assisted technicians in set-up/tear-down of equipment; perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall equipment and facilities upkeep.
- Have a thorough understanding of LPG, natural gas connections, and regulations
- Mobilize equipment according to set procedures.
- Clean all foreign matter from the metal object and prep for thermocouples.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- IRATA / SPRAT certification
- NDT/ NDE Certification preferred
- Travel required.
- Must have a capacity for work at height.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
- Ensure Safe Working Methods are applied at all times, with weekly safety meetings held.
- Use initiative to find solutions in the field for the benefit of the customer.
- Attend site meetings with the client as required.
- Carry out other related distribution tasks, when required.
- Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
