POSITION: Analyst, Carrier Operations
Job Summary
You will be in charge of the daily activities related to voice and SMS services for wholesale national roaming. Your goal is to help meet revenue and cost targets.

Key Tasks
- Build and maintain partnerships with telecom companies.
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing with carriers.
- Be the main contact for resolving issues and escalations.
- Oversee the setup and management of carrier services.
- Ensure that services meet performance standards.
- Work with engineering teams to manage network capacity.
- Improve carrier routes and processes for cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to fix issues.
- Keep accurate records of agreements, pricing, and usage.
- Ensure all activities follow telecom regulations.
- Assist with audits for carrier services.
- Monitor costs to stay within budget.
- Look for ways to save costs by consolidating or negotiating with carriers.
- Provide reports on carrier spending.
- Work with various teams to achieve operational goals.
- Support new product launches that need carrier services.
- Update stakeholders on any changes related to carriers.
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in roaming carrier operations or a similar field.
- Skills: Knowledge of data analytics tools (like Excel and Power BI) and billing systems.
- Project and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must embody MTN’s values: Inclusion, Care, Integrity, Agility, and Respect.

Location: Accra.
