Ministry of Health Job Recruitment for October 2023
The Ministry of Health wishes to inform Medical Officers and Dentist, who have completed their House Job and has been verified by the Medical and Dental Council under the 30th list, that Recruitment into the service will commence on Monday, 9th October, 2023 at 12pm.
1. MEDICAL OFFICERS
Responsibilities
- Contributing clinical expertise to patient care and mentoring junior doctors.
- Administrative responsibilities and risk management.
- Maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
- Verifying complicated diagnoses and assisting with treatment strategies.
- Hiring, managing, and mentoring healthcare workers, as well as consulting.
- Budget management and identifying opportunities for improvement in inpatient care.
- Keeping up to date on field breakthroughs and contributing to medical research projects.
- Ensuring that healthcare rules and safety requirements are followed.
2 . DENTAL OFFICERS
Responsibilities
- Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental conditions, perform frequent cleanings and other preventative procedures, and develop a dental hygiene plan.
- Extractions, root canals, and cavity fillings are examples of dental operations.
- Overcrowding and biting hazards are being addressed.
- Using beneficial substances on teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
- Prescriptions for pain relievers and antibiotics for dental disorders.
- Giving sedatives or anaesthetics to customers before administering treatments.
- Obtaining diagnostic measures such as x-rays, models, and so on.
- Examining and treating teeth and mouth with tools such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors.
