Medicas Hospital Calls for Job Applications
Position: PHARMACIST
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide quality pharmaceutical care to clients in the health facility in line with the Standards of Pharmaceutical Care and the accompanying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Guidelines for Pharmaceutical Services.
- Help other health workers and patients/clients get the most out of their treatments by giving them information, advice, and counseling about medicines.
- Then, Serve as a Clinical Department’s Pharmacy Manager.
- Make sure that medicines in the hospital are stored and handled safely.
- As needed, be an active part of the hospital’s quality assurance team.
- Support the work of the hospital’s Drugs and Therapeutic Committee (DTC) and Rational Use of Medicines (RUM).
- Make sure that pharmaceutical products and devices are of good quality, safe, effective, and affordable for patients/clients.
- Make sure that the hospital’s Revolving Drugs Funds are managed in a good way.
- Make sure that data is collected, stored, processed, and used in the pharmacy in a way that helps with management and clinical care decisions.
- Take an active role in making hospital rules and policies, and make sure they are followed.
- Based on the level of care in the hospital, provide central intravenous addiction services.
Skills or Experience Needed
- Excellent skills in writing and talking to people
- Ability to work with, lead, and manage a team of people from different backgrounds.
- Ability to organize work and meet tight deadlines.
- Computer skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
