List of professions that can now immigrate through Express Entry
These 16 jobs are now part of TEER 3, which puts them on the same level as NOC B. They are now considered qualified and can immigrate through Express Entry or provincial programs that require this level of training.
Through Express Entry, these people will be able to move to Canada:
- Payroll administrators
- Dental assistants and helpers who work in dental labs
- Aide-médecins, orderlies, and patient service workers
- Both technical aids and assistants in pharmacies.
- Elementary and secondary school teacher assistants
- Sheriffs and bailiffs are people who enforce the law.
- Officers of the correctional service
- Officers in charge of enforcing bylaws and other rules
Also, these people will be able to move to Canada through Express Entry:
- Estheticians, electricians, and people in similar jobs
- Residential and commercial installers and servicers
- Fumigators and people who get rid of bugs
- Other people who fix and service things
- Transport truck drivers
- Drivers of buses, subways, and other forms of public transportation
- Heavy machinery operators
- Aircraft assemblers and inspectors of aircraft assemblers
In this same set of changes, there are three groups that are no longer eligible:
- Some other artists
- People in charge of leisure, sports, and fitness programs
- Dressmakers, furriers, milliners, and tailors
