POSITION: HR Business Partner

Main Purpose:

  • Provide comprehensive human resources services to all Puma entities in the country.
  • Assist the Global HR team in developing a strong framework for scalable expansion and integration of Puma entities. Ensuring the smooth tactical deployment of global policies and processes, including input in their design (e.g., Talent Management, Performance Management, Recruitment, and Benefits initiatives).
  • Partnering with the local general manager and offering technical HR experience to local HR to foster ongoing knowledge and skill development, as well as global team spirit.
  • Consolidation of in-country HR data and performance metrics to assess the efficacy of HR initiatives and functions in driving organizational performance and controlling costs across the region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take a hands-on approach to developing and improving human resources in both new and existing countries.
  • Plan, develop, and manage HR activities in support of business goals as directed by the GM.
  • Adapts global HR efforts to local organizational needs within established limitations, and aids local management with implementation by effectively explaining goals and implications.
  • Provides strategic business partnership (as a member of the local leadership team) and field employee/labor relations support to regional firms.
  • Drive strategic people initiatives and programs throughout the company, and mobilize the management team to ensure that people strategy is successfully implemented.
  • Interprets and communicates business needs, and identifies or assists in developing acceptable solutions within the context of Puma’s worldwide HR objectives.
    Promote peaceful and effective corporate relationships with trade unions and employees in general.
  • Provides specified measures for assessing the efficacy of HR strategies in increasing organizational performance and controlling expenses.
  • Effectively Liaises with other Puma HR departments to reduce duplication of effort while increasing alignment and mutual assistance.

Requirements:

Mandatory Education:

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
    Experience:
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of human resource management experience in a medium to large multinational, ideally in multicultural environments.
  • Knowledge of HR programs, processes, tools, rules, and guidelines, as well as how to apply them to complicated organizational situations.
  • Knowledge of organizational concepts such as team management, organizational design, resource usage, and workforce planning.
  • Proven expertise dealing with HR concerns relating to acquisitions and its derived components for the HR function (such as due diligence and restructuring).

Skills:

  • Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Core competencies include business knowledge and leadership abilities.
  • Numerical and analytical skills
