Job Description and Role

The Manager of Growth Office is in charge of overseeing and coordinating all of the Growth Office’s activities and putting the Deloitte Brand in a strong position in the markets we work in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve the delivery of the Firm’s Growth Office in the market.
  • Create and write down an annual strategic market plan that explains what we know about the market, who we are and where we want to play, the structures and processes we need to be successful, and how we will measure our performance.
  • Improve our winning business culture so that everyone who works with our clients knows what they need to do to sell in a One Deloitte context and has the motivation and tools to do so.
  • Use our industry programs to help us become the best in our chosen fields by:
    • Positioning with care
    • focusing on the most important clients and prospects
    • Having a plan and
    • Bringing together, coordinating, and supporting our activities to help us succeed in the market
  • Build on and add new client programs that are appropriate, such as:
    • Planning and teams that take care of clients
    • A unique customer experience program that will set us apart in the market
    • Lead training and development for client service partners
    • We use client service evaluations to measure how well we work with our clients.
  • Position our brand with courage by:
    • Using the world’s activities to our advantage
    • Targeted development and distribution of the right thought leadership to show off our skills and how smart our people are.
    • investigating and using the right channels, such as digital marketing
  • Introduce new processes that will help the Growth Office work, such as managing knowledge, doing research, and managing customer relationships.
  • Take part in the right Growth Office governance processes, such as integrating with the Deloitte structures for the African and Global Growth Offices.
  • Help the Growth Office function to incorporate quality practices.

Qualifications

Candidates need to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least a second-class upper.
  • MBA stands for Master of Business Administration.
  • A certificate or degree in marketing. (CIM-UK and CIMG)
  • 10 years of similar experience in business or providing professional services.

Software Skill Requirements

  • Ability to use programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project Office, Access, etc., well.
  • Self-starter who takes the initiative and can run a wide range of programs.
  • The ability to work with different people at different levels, both inside and outside of the organization.
  • Number-savvy and able to analyze and understand data.
