ROLE: Business Controller – Industrial & Logistics
Role Purpose
- Manage manufacturing and supply chain costs, including assumptions and productivity, and track performance against KPIs.
- Monitor productivity programs, emphasizing the relationship between cost drivers and financials, and facilitate benchmark talks.
- Build strong business justifications to maximize the ROI for CAPEX initiatives.
- Ensure the stability of logistics standard costs while precisely tracking actual costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support supply chain and industrial performance through ad hoc analysis and recommendations on which CAPEX ROI (Logistic network analysis, Total cost to service analysis, and Make or By)
- Lead the forecasting process for logistics and manufacturing cost productivity, as well as major logistics and industrial cost factors.
- Co-lead productivity project portfolio review.
- Animate internal and external benchmark debates.
- Establish group reporting of items under his scope, primarily Logistics and Manufacturing Price Variance.
- Maintains local Business Intelligence tools updated on things within his scope, primarily
- Logistics and Manufacturing expenses.
- Review and approve logistics and manufacturing contracts under stated policy.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and internal control regulations.
- Support business process owners, ensure proper control ownership, and assist the internal control team throughout testing.
- To implement any business control measures required to assure the provision of financial resources that do not jeopardize food safety requirements.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPAs are recommended, but not essential.
- A minimum of 6 years of finance and accounting experience, including finance, accounting, auditing, and analysis (including gathering, assessing, presenting, and reporting financial information to management and external stakeholders) in a global corporation.
- Solid experience directing audit activities, managing reporting, budget planning and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and investment accounting.
- Change management is ready for Integrated Business Services Roadmap
- Proactive, hands-on manager who will oversee major initiatives.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to organize and manage various priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with others, both internally and externally.
