POSITION: Senior Manager – Cyber Security

With continuously changing cybersecurity threats, clients from various industries turn to us for reliable solutions to their increasingly complex concerns. You will have access to our powerful tools for advising clients on minimizing cybersecurity risk, improving maturity, and increasing efficiency. You will be part of a worldwide network of specialists assisting our clients with their most sophisticated cybersecurity requirements and contributing to their business resilience.

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Senior Manager to join our cybersecurity team. You will collaborate with established industry specialists to implement best practices for managing cybersecurity people, processes, and technology. You will learn about the creation and implementation of cybersecurity programs and strategies across a range of industries, as well as how to create measurable, long-term plans to stay up-to-date with the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape.

This role is part of our advisory team, which helps our clients improve the efficacy of their operations activities by aiding them in shifting their focus away from transaction-level control, processing, and reporting and toward more value-driven decision support and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Client’s responsibilities

  • Assess or design a digital strategy.
  • Assist with the selection and installation of IT solutions, including ERP and bespoke systems.
  • Act as a client-side counsellor for system implementation.
  • Lead the program management of IT-driven change initiatives.
  • Provide advice and help for the adoption of cloud-based technologies.
  • Advise and facilitate the implementation of innovative technologies such as robotic process automation.
  • Assist in the adoption of advanced data management by leveraging big data solutions and insights to improve business performance.
  • Provide guidance on the social inclusion implications of new technology.

People Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to performance evaluation and people-related initiatives.
  • Understand and adhere to workplace policies and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Qualifications

Technical Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in a consultancy environment is necessary.
  • Expertise in digital and technology solutions, with a focus on the financial services sector. Proven track record of selling large IT consulting projects.
  • Customer engagement expertise combined with an awareness of leading techniques and industry issues.
  • Competencies include confidently managing many clients and team members, strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a focus on execution.
  • Team player with leadership abilities and aspirations

Educational and Academic Qualifications

  • At least ten years of expertise in cyber and information security.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (such as cybersecurity, information security, information technology, computer science, or IT engineering).
  • A master’s degree in a relevant subject of study would be an additional benefit.
  • Experience with security risk assessments
  • Experience carrying out vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
  • Knowledge in configuring and managing security solutions
  • Knowledge of security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, PCI DSS, and Ghana’s Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) Directive, among others.
  • Familiar with security strategy formulation, policies, and processes.
  • Familiar with security operations, threat management, and digital forensics.
  • Certification in one or more of the following fields is necessary.
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM, and CISA. CEH/LPT (Master), GPEN/CompTIA PenTest+
  • Certification in one or more of the following would be advantageous. ISO 27001 LI/LA, ISO 27032, PCI DSS QSA, and ISO 22301 LI/LA
