Job Description
This job is in charge of day-to-day transaction processing. Moreover, The incumbent is individually responsible for accomplishing results through their own efforts.
- In charge of generating and processing transactions.
- Handles general account inquiries.
- Checks the amounts that will be paid and received by a business unit.
- Pays bills and accounts.
- Maintains records of financial transactions.
- Keeps customer account information up to date.
- Checks that all account order forms and receipts are appropriately completed.
- Compares costs and budgets.
- Calculates the operating costs of a business or organization.
- Daily check of the General Ledger
Key Results Areas and Accountabilities
Payment Processing:
- Pays bills and accounts.
- Checks the amounts that will be paid and received by a business unit.
- Compares costs and budgets.
Account Processing:
- Handles general account inquiries.
- Responsible for transaction processing.
- Checks that all account order forms and receipts are appropriately completed.
- Sets up new accounts.
Personal effectiveness:
- Accountable for delivering services through their own efforts.
- Individually liable for managing one’s own time, duties, and output quality for periods ranging from one day to three months.
- Makes greater contributions by widening individual abilities.
- Collaborates successfully with others to achieve personal goals.

Record Keeping:
- Maintains records of financial transactions.
- Keeps customer account information up to date.
General Ledger:
- Checks the General Ledger daily for unexpected transactions.
- Ensures that GL abnormalities are swiftly resolved.

Qualifications and Experience Required
- A Bachelor’s Degree in (Accounting, Finance, or a related field) from an authorized university.
- Previous work experience in a similar function
