POSITION: Head of Retail Business
The person in this job manages a team in a technical environment and is also responsible for getting results through other people.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for how the Retail Distribution Channel works as a whole
- Makes a Retail Mass Business/Target Operating Model that is in line with the Old Mutual Ghana (OMG) strategy and is responsible for it.
- Make sure that implementations of the Retail Mass are managed well based on agreed-upon key performance indicators, according to agreed-upon project management principles, and in line with Old Mutual’s (OM) plan and governance.
- Aligning the different value packages is the best way to get the most market share.
- As needed, provide ongoing help and updates to Retail Mass operations that are already set up across OMG.
- Develops a plan for the overall growth of distribution and sets aggressive performance goals for the different channels. This leads to more sales and lower operating losses.
- Makes sure that there is a clear operational plan for driving OMG Retail’s sales strongly.
- Makes a sustainable economic model for the channel that takes into account the regulatory framework and is based on providing goods that meet customer needs and are competitive in the market.
- Manages the flow of talent across all Retail outlets in order to get the most out of the people and change the business.
- To work well as a part of the Executive Management Team.
