Job Description
We are looking for a professional and creative video editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a good eye for detail, able to transform raw material into compelling video content that is consistent with our brand and engages our target audience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edit raw video material to produce high-quality advertising, promotional videos, webinars, tutorials, and event highlights.
- Ensure that films are interesting, visually appealing, and consistent with the company’s branding and messaging.
- Work with the event and content teams to create video concepts and storyboards.
- Use visuals, animations, and special effects to enhance video content.
- Apply colour correction, audio editing, and video stabilization.
- Add subtitles, captions, and other text overlays as needed.
- Export final videos in a variety of formats ideal for the web, social media, and other channels.
- Review and proofread videos to ensure they satisfy quality requirements and are free of errors.
- Use feedback from team members and stakeholders to improve video content.
- Organize and manage video files and project assets on the company’s Google Drive.
- Keep a collection of finished video productions for future reference.
- Collaborate with the creative team and other departments to ensure that video initiatives achieve organizational objectives.
- Participate in brainstorming meetings to generate new video content ideas.
IDEAL PROFILE
- Fluent English
- One to three years of video production experience
- Proven expertise as a video editor, with a solid portfolio of past work.
- Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation tools such as After Effects is beneficial.
- A thorough understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for web and social media.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully with team members.
- Creativity and a passion for telling stories through film.
- Organized, communicative, and adaptive for growth in a startup!
- Experience in the technology industry is a plus.

CONTRACT: This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) with independent contractor status.
