We are looking for a lively and goal-oriented Event Sales Associate to be part of our team. In this job, you will help sell tickets and make sure people come to our upcoming conferences and training sessions. This job is great for people who have worked in conference or service sales before, enjoy a busy work environment, and like to build strong relationships with clients.
Main Duties
- Actively sell tickets for conferences and training to people who might be interested in using different ways, like talking in person, making phone calls, sending emails, and using the internet.
- Find and evaluate potential customers, create a strong list of sales opportunities, and turn interested people into confirmed attendees.
- Have a good knowledge of conference topics, schedules, and benefits so you can talk well with potential clients.
- Reach or go beyond monthly sales goals and important performance measures.
- Create and maintain strong connections with business clients, sponsors, and individual participants.
- Work together with the marketing team to make plans for getting new customers and running advertising campaigns.
- Keep track of sales activities and customer information in CRM systems correctly.
- Always be professional and show enthusiasm when talking with others on behalf of the company.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: At least a university degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or something similar.
- Experience: You need to have worked in conference or service sales before.
- Certifications: Having a professional certification in Sales or Marketing is a plus.
- Has a history of successfully reaching and surpassing sales goals.
- Good at talking with others, making deals, and getting along with people.
- Can work alone or with others in a busy place.
- Skilled in using CRM software, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office programs.
