POSITION: Technical Training Coordinator
Company Overview:

Role Purpose:
The Technical Coordinator is responsible for identifying and developing a training strategy for technical and operational gaps within our Waste Processing Cluster.
REPORTS TO: GROUP HEAD, HUMAN CAPITAL (dotted lines to Group Head), Technical
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver comprehensive technical training programs that use in-person, online, and blended learning methodologies, as well as customized programs to address specific skill shortages and areas for performance improvement.
- Create and manage training materials and resources to ensure they are in line with current industry standards and technology improvements.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to define training requirements and objectives, while encouraging a collaborative and inclusive training environment.
- Conduct training sessions and seminars at various technical levels, tailoring strategies to individual learning styles and preferences.
- Identify professional mentors/coaches for the technical team to provide support and coaching to employees, reinforce learning outcomes, and monitor program efficacy via assessments and feedback.
- Coordinate training efforts with department heads and team leaders, scheduling sessions to ensure maximum participation while minimizing operational disturbance.
- Lead and mentor a team of trainers and support personnel, providing clear communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate training outcomes, apply continuous improvement initiatives, and create metrics to assess the program’s impact on employee performance.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, prepare reports on outcomes and impact for top management, and ensure standards are met.
- Plan and manage departmental workloads and budgets, conduct annual performance reviews, and ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Qualifications:
- A good first degree in any of the following fields: human resource management, psychology, or humanities. Any engineering discipline will provide an advantage.
- A professional qualification in learning and development or talent management is required for this position.
- Not less than ten (10) years of experience in the manufacturing or production industry, with at least five years in a supervisory/senior role in training or maintenance.
