POSITION: I.T Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and uphold IT policies, procedures, and standards to guarantee compliance and security.
- Assess and suggest emerging technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Work together with other departments to grasp IT needs and specifications.
- Organize and implement IT initiatives, encompassing enhancements, transitions, and setups.
- Record IT systems, setups, and processes for knowledge transfer and training purposes.
- Set up, configure, and manage computer systems, applications, and networks.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems involving desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
- Offer technical assistance to users, encompassing diagnosing and fixing IT-related issues.
- Safeguard IT systems, encompassing data backup, antivirus safeguards, and access management.
- Oversee and track network infrastructure, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Higher National Diploma or diploma in Information Technology
- 2 years of work experience in IT support or administration.
- Robust technical expertise in computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Outstanding skills in resolving issues and diagnosing problems.
- Understanding of network protocols, security concepts, and optimal practices.
- Skill to manage tasks effectively and perform well under stress.
- Outstanding communication and people skills.
- Focus on precision and meticulousness in tasks.
