POSITION: Senior Procurement Assistant

Company Profile

The Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NRA) is an independent regulatory organization created by the NRA Act of 2015 (Act 895) that commenced operations in January 2016. The NRA is legally responsible for regulating civilian use of nuclear and other radioactive materials, and it is prepared to oversee Ghana’s nuclear power development.

Job Description

The NRA is looking for candidates to fill various positions within its organizational structure. The NRA cordially encourages competent Ghanaians to apply for any of the positions listed below.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, arranging, and coordinating procurement efforts to guarantee that goods, services, and works are acquired on time and at a reasonable cost.
  • Key responsibilities include analyzing requisitions and specifications, developing procurement plans and strategies, conducting market research, preparing and issuing Request for Proposals (RFPs), evaluating bids and negotiating contracts, preparing and managing contracts, monitoring contract performance, developing a supplier list, and managing inventories.

Required Skill or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar discipline, with at least three years of post-qualification experience
