Job Vacancy at International Cocoa Initiative (ICI)

POSITION: FIELD SUPERVISOR – ALLIANCE FOR CHANGE

Company Profile

The International Cocoa Initiative (ICI) (www.cocoainitiative.org) is a multi-stakeholder group that brings together civil society, certifiers, the cocoa and chocolate industries, and international organizations to address child and forced labour in the cocoa sector, as well as collaborate with governments.

ICI has created a Child Labour Monitoring and Remediation System (CLMRS) that enables industry partners to appropriately manage the risk of child labour in the cocoa supply chain. According to the Ghana Child Exploitation Monitoring System (GCLMS), the system is built on the presence of Community Facilitators (CF) in cocoa-growing communities who raise awareness about child exploitation, detect incidents, and carry out rehabilitation efforts.
