Job Description
This is a full-time job as an Installer at DBS Roofing Company in Tamale, where you can also work from home sometimes. The Installer will put on and fix roofs, make sure the work is done well, and follow safety rules.
Duties:
- Checking the roofs to decide what to do next.
- Giving clients a price estimate for the work and materials needed to repair or build a roof.
- Measuring and cutting materials so they fit well around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls.
- Making rough areas on roofs smooth so they are ready for new shingles or waterproofing.
- Fixing parts of clients’ roofs that are broken or decaying.
- Putting up vapor barriers and insulation to make a better waterproof seal.
- Setting up ladders, scaffolding, and lifting equipment safely when needed.
- Letting the boss know how the work is going and telling them about any issues.
- Carrying all the needed tools and materials to work sites safely.
Qualifications
- Experience in putting on and fixing roofs.
- Understanding safety rules and instructions.
- Good at working with others.
- Being fit and able to work up high.
- Good at noticing small details and solving problems.
