ROLE: Sales Representative (Accounts Developer)

Job Description.

Voltic Ghana Limited has an interesting employment offer for Sales Representatives in Accra. Voltic (GH) Limited has been manufacturing Ghana’s premier premium water brand for more than two decades. Also, Voltic (GH) Limited has expanded its business to include Value Added Dairies. This position reports to the Territory Manager. The position holder will be responsible for representing Voltic GH Ltd brands professionally to the market and ensuring effective distributor, wholesaler, retailer, and customer service. To oversee the creation and maintenance of strong connections, standards, and the identification of growth prospects within a channel/customer in order to sell Voltic products and meet Voltic GH Ltd’s aims.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Follow all authorised and responsible instructions given to you by Voltic (GH) Limited, such as

  • Order generation in accordance with the targets agreed upon with Voltic (GH) Ltd.
  • Call compliance: 100%
  • Meet daily secondary sales targets and maintain a strike rate of at least 75%.
  • Maintain Voltic’s authorised execution standards, including the planogram and POSM.
  • Monitor and share rival activity.
  • Account Development: Investigate and pursue new channel opportunities to create and implement RED.
  • Responsible and liable for the company image.
  • Always uphold the company’s image by good behaviour and respectful business language.
  • Arrive early for calls at OVDs.
  • Always appear smart and casual.
  • Protect company assets handed to you for safekeeping, such as phones and call devices.
  • Become familiar with and follow the company’s present and future traditions, rules, policies, and regulations.
  • Quality Management: Ensure compliance with quality standards and manage trade replacements.
  • Promotions: Implement promotional programmes, report, and carry out promotional compliance.
  • Merchandising: Implement the picture of success by channel.
  • Implement stock rotation.
  • Provide dealer marketing training.
  • Generate orders by selling core packs as per success criteria.
  • Orders are calculated and captured using Mac mobile.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Manage new product listings.
  • Negotiates permanent, promotional, and ad-hoc space with the customer.

Skills, Experience, and Education Required

  • Minimum HND in Marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to sell persuasively.
  • Requirements for this position include driving abilities,
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a sales representative in a fast-moving consumer goods
