POSITION: Manager, Budgeting & Reporting

Job Description
- Duty Station: Accra.
- PURPOSE: Manage budgeting and financial reporting for BRAC Ghana Savings and Loans Ltd. and develop strategies to achieve success.
Major Responsibilities
- Prepare all group reports for approval and submission by the CFO.
- Prepare notes for monthly group reports in the FCCS.
- Prepare, authenticate, and submit GDPC returns on a monthly basis.
- Lead the preparation of the board papers.
- Prepare weekly management reports, including ratios and analysis.
- Manage the timely production, coordination, evaluation, preparation, and submission of financial and economic regulatory returns for BGSL’s financial regulatory reports to the Bank of Ghana.
- Support monthly regulatory reporting by planning, arranging, facilitating, and assisting with the submission of all regulatory credit and operational risk returns.
- Plan and coordinate ad hoc regulatory reporting modifications, new requirements, and projects.
- Manage the systems and processes necessary for the successful compilation and submission of regulatory returns.
- As the financial lead, oversee the deployment and setup of reporting systems such as ORASS and DAR.
- Review team output to offer valuable and insightful data based on regulatory results.
Safeguarding responsibilities
- Implement the safeguarding policy to foster a culture of safety at all levels of the program. Serve as a primary source of assistance, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding to create a safe workplace.
- Responsible for ensuring that team members receive adequate training, support, and access to resources about issues detected and addressed in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in the event of a reportable occurrence, and encourage others to do the same.
Required Skill or Experience
EXPERIENCE (Including Sector/Industry)
- 10 years of relevant work experience, 5 of which should have been a senior management position in a comparable organization.
- Experience in the financial services sector, including handling complicated reporting, budgeting, auditing, and compliance in an international non-governmental organization with a global orientation.

SPECIFIC EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Degree/Masters Concentration/ Major
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required at a minimum.
- Recognized professional qualifications in finance and accounting, such as ICA Ghana, ACCA, or CPA, are preferred. Finance & Accounting
