Job Vacancy at Asokore Rural Bank PLC
Asokore Rural Bank PLC is seeking submissions from appropriately competent Ghanaian audit companies to serve as External Auditors.
Responsibilities
- To conduct detailed audits of the bank’s operational activities, test the adequacy of the bank’s internal control systems, and provide professional advice as needed.
- Conduct the bank’s audit in line with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) on auditing, the Companies Act 2019 (Act 992), and the Banking and Specialised Deposit Taking Institution Act, 2016 (Act 930).
- Prepare the bank’s annual financial report and deliver it to shareholders at the Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
- To inform the board of any flaws in the bank’s financial statement to ensure it is free of material misstatement.
- Provide any additional advice or services that may be requested from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as an external auditor.
- Have a track record of auditing in rural banking.
- Understanding of external audits and related legislation and Acts.
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles and current IFRS reporting requirements.
- Licensed under the Institute of Chartered Accountants Act 2020 (Act 1058)
