We are a reputed financial institution seeking the services of an experienced, self-motivated people to be employed as the Finance Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct a daily review of expenses and general ledgers to guarantee accurate accounting and bookkeeping for all transactions.
- Prepare monthly management reports and compare actual to budgeted performance.
- Prepare a monthly financial performance report.
- Responsible for handling business tax concerns and publishing payroll journals.
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly required reports to the BOG and others.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Review monthly bank reconciliation for all corporate bank accounts and ensure that reconciling differences are posted.
- Responsible for the management of the company’s fixed assets, including scheduling and depreciation.
- Responsible for drafting the end-of-year financial statements for external audit
Required Skill or Experience
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area, membership in ACCA, ICA, or CIMA, and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
Knowledge of the ERP accounting system is desirable.
SPECIAL ABILITIES.
- Good working knowledge of IFRS.
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
- Good understanding of the requirements of the Bank of Ghana and other regulatory organizations.
- Experience in financial modelling in Microsoft Excel.
