Context of the Role
Assuredly and expertly deliver the complete range of DHL customer service options (such as booking, inquiries, shipment status, tracking, etc.) to everyone reaching out to DHL through the customer service hotline and various other communication methods.
Delivering a fast and professional service to DHL clients by offering timely, polite, and precise replies to Customer inquiries. Retaining the current customer base by fostering loyalty through efficient problem resolution and attentive customer service. Upholding all service standards established by the DHL Network.
Main Duties
Internal Clients
- Aid the Service Point Supervisor in implementing appropriate SPA staff orientation sessions and practical training for SPA recruits from Agencies and IROs.
Outside Clients
- Deliver service focused on customers consistently to meet their needs.
- Offer the DHL selection of products and services at the point of sale to encourage the use of additional services.
- Uphold a high level of personal and office appearance while consistently projecting a positive corporate image.
- Provide top-notch customer service by addressing each customer’s specific requirements while following DHL guidelines.
- Address customer inquiries related to information about prices, customs regulations, and other requirements.
Internal Stakeholder
- Coordinate with other departments and Operations to resolve concerns regarding service quality.
Procedure
- Responsible for the secure and precise gathering of sales revenue and confirm that the funds are transferred to the Receiving Cashier on the same day.
- Verify precise coding for all accepted shipments and input details into the system to enable timely delivery of shipments.
- Handle customer complaints with confidence and expertise while remaining calm, and take all feasible steps to resolve issues to the customer’s complete satisfaction (without over-committing).
- Address customer objections professionally to restore their confidence in DHL.
Service Enhancement Concern
- Identify improvement opportunities and provide proposed solutions to enhance DHL’s processes, technology, and service, thereby positively impacting customers’ experience with DHL.
Management of Personnel
- Quickly inform the supervisor about other customer service issues and provide advice regarding any down-trader or inactive customers to decrease attrition rates and enhance chances for competitive business advantages.
