The Japanese Embassy in Ghana is looking for a skilled candidate for the position of Consular Officer’s Assistant.

Contents of Business

  1. Visa application processing
  2. Assistance in protecting Japanese nationals
  3. Assist consular officials in the performance of their duties

Contract details

  1. Monthly wage, including SSNIT and medical insurance.
  2. Overtime Allowance
  3. The contract duration will begin on April 1, 2024 (probationary period of three months).
  4. Long-term availability is preferable.
  5. Working hours: 08:30-17:00 (Monday-Thursday) and 08:30-12:30 (Friday).

Application Requirements

  1. 22 to 40 years old.
  2. Language skills (English and Japanese).
    • English (Conversation and Writing)
    • Japanese (Conversation and Writing)
    • Proficiency in Japanese is advantageous.
  3. Computer skills (Word and Excel)
  4. Experience working in Japan is desired.
  5. Available to work beginning April 1st, 2024.
  6. Motivated person.
  7. You must be eligible to work in Ghana.

  • One passport-size photo (Photo data acceptable)
  • Identification (passport, etc.)
  • Diploma or degree certificate of the last school attended
  • Certificate of Japanese language proficiency or certificate of work experience in Japan, if available.
  • Lastly, A brief self-introduction in Japanese
