1. Financial controller
Duties
- Managing all accounting processes, including billing, accounts receivable, payable, general ledgers, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and inventory accounting.
- Coordinating and coordinating budgetary and financial projections
- Coordinate regulatory reporting.
- Preparing and publishing monthly financial statements.
- Researching technical accounting concerns for compliance.
- Ensure quality control for financial reporting and transactions.
- Managing and complying with reporting requirements and tax filings for the municipal, state, and federal governments
- Creating and documenting accounting policies and business processes to improve internal controls.
2. Accountant
Duties
- Adhering to all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial rules.
- Compiling, evaluating, and reporting financial information.
- Creating periodic reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Presenting data to managers, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Keeping proper financial records.
- Conducting audits and resolving issues.
- Calculating taxes.
- Keeping up to date with current financial and accounting legislation.
- Creating budgets and financial forecasts to help managers make decisions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related profession
- Additional education or experience may be preferred.
- Certain licenses or certifications may be necessary.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and computer abilities.
- Understanding of mathematics, accounting, and financial procedures.
