Electrical Switchgear Limited (ESL) is an electrical panel manufacturing firm based in Ghana. We design and manufacture electrical low-voltage main distribution and control panels for industrial, commercial, and residential use.

Job Description

The Panel Builder is in charge of completing all panel-building tasks as assigned. The Panel Builder reports to the Production Engineer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build the panel according to the specified circuit and layout, while adhering to the industry standard for panel building.
• Maintain timelines at all times and communicate effectively if any issues emerge.
• Generate a component list for each project as allocated to ensure efficient material utilization.
• Ensure excellent work and efficient use of materials.
• Provide a daily update on the progress of assigned ongoing initiatives, noting the problems they confront.
• Always adhere to the 5S principles in the workplace.
• May be assigned additional duties as needed.
• Take good care of the instruments you have available to ensure that jobs are completed effectively.
• Work safely and follow the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Standards that apply to his or her work area.

OSHA RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge and adherence to all TAGG’s OHS&E procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and directions.
• Risk Assessment
• Hazard Identification and Reporting
• Knowledge of the safe use of tools and equipment, when relevant

Required Skill or Experience

• Qualification & Experience
• Requirements for this position include a Higher National Diploma (HND) in
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering and experience building electrical panels.
• Job-related certification.

• Attention to detail and precision.
• Capable of meeting job deadlines and possessing strong planning and organizing skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem-solving skills
• Requirements: – Strong collaboration and teamwork skills – Fluency in written and spoken English
