Internal Auditor at Bagabaga College of Education
The Bagabaga College of Education in Tamale is looking for someone to be the Internal Auditor
Responsibilities
In general, the Internal Auditor will provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services that will add value and make the College’s operations better. He or she will help the College reach its goals by evaluating and improving risk management, control, and governance processes in a systematic and disciplined way.
In particular, among other things, he or she must:
- Supervise the staff under the Internal Auditor in a professional and administrative way to make sure the College’s internal auditing system works well;
- Do internal audits of the College on a regular basis and send reports to the Audit Implementation Committee through the College’s Principal.
Qualifications and Experience
- The applicant must have a relevant bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, as well as a Master’s degree in the field.
- Must be a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and a recognized professional association for accountants.
- He or she must have worked as a Deputy Internal Auditor in a College of Education or a similar position in a similar institution or organization for at least four (4) years.
