Heinrich Boll Foundation International Scholarships 2024
The Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarship Program is accepting applications now for study abroad opportunities in Germany. This fully supported scholarship opportunity offers complete financial support for the duration of the program and is accessible for both master’s and Ph.D. studies.

For the academic year 2024–2025, the Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarships are intended to support foreign students pursuing postgraduate and doctoral studies in Germany. The full cost of the programs they have selected will be covered by the full scholarships awarded to the successful candidates.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation, often known as the Heinrich Böll Stiftung, is a well-known international political foundation based in Germany. Established in 1997, the organization bears the name Heinrich Böll, a renowned German writer and recipient of the Nobel Prize. Qualification Criteria:
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements in order to be considered for the Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarship:

Primary Requirements for the Doctorate Scholarship:
- An exceptional academic record at the university and in the classroom.
- The demonstration of an engaging research topic that includes an advanced stage of exploratory work, an inventive research approach, a realistic timeline, and an exposé.
- Getting involved in politics and social issues.
- Strong, well-supported reasons for submitting an application to the Heinrich Böll Foundation

- Before the application deadline passes, submit your application after uploading all of your supporting documentation.

HEINRICH BÖLL FOUNDATION
Graduates and doctoral students from countries other than Germany are eligible to receive financial support from the Heinrich Boll Foundation through the organization’s scholarship department. It is not possible to submit an application for a scholarship to help pay for an undergraduate education.
The deadline to submit an application is on March 1st and September 1st. Please note that we are only able to process applications submitted online. Approximately six weeks before the application deadline, the application portal will be made available to users.
Applicants from other countries are required to demonstrate their command of the German language. It is needed that you have a good or very good understanding of the German language (at least at the B2 Level or DSH2 level).
