Project Summary:

The Alliance for Integrity is a business-led, multi-stakeholder project that wants to make the economy more honest and transparent. In order to reach this goal, it encourages the private sector, the public sector, and civil society to work together. The Alliance for Integrity is a place where businesses and their supply chains can find real ways to improve their ability to comply.

The Alliance for Integrity wants to make a long-term contribution to the long-term goal of making corporations free of corruption. Within this larger mission, the goal is to make it easier for businesses in the areas where it works to use effective strategies to fight corruption.

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) funds the Alliance for Integrity. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is in charge of putting it into action in Gluna, Brazil, Mexico, India, and their respective regions. Help the Alliance for Integrity set up conferences, events, and meetings, including putting together the agenda,

Tasks:

• Documents, presentations, and writing minutes, among other things.
• Help with the initiative’s online engagement (website, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter) and social media posts in Ghana.
• Give general program and administrative support to the Alliance for Integrity in the country/region in its day-to-day work. Help plan, run, and write up meetings, workshops, seminars, and other events related to the project.
• Help pay for supplies, equipment, and materials
• Prepare invitations and updates and send them out with the help of the Network Manager. Make travel arrangements (hotels, flights, etc.), including reimbursement documents for travel.
• Do other jobs and tasks that management asks you to do.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, communication, economics, IT, or something similar.
• Completed National Service.
• You can also apply if you are a student in a master’s program or just got your degree in development studies, international relations, economics, or a related field less than six months before the internship starts.
• Motivated team player who works in a planned, proactive, detail-oriented, and goal-oriented way.
• Strong speaking and writing skills, as well as a basic understanding of how to manage data.
• Fluent in at least one local language and English
• Knowing German and being able to understand other cultures are also pluses, as is having worked on a project before.
• Interested in learning new things and growing as a person
