Express Entry 2024 for Skilled Worker & Int’l Graduates: BC PNP, MPNP, OINP PNP

Promising news has emerged from the first Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws of 2024, marking a significant milestone for potential immigrants. Recently, invitations were sent out by three Canadian provinces, signaling the start of a new year full of chances for anyone looking to move to Canada.

In the first Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws of 2024, applicants have been invited from Ontario, British Columbia, and Manitoba. Provincial governments can assess and choose economic immigration candidates through the PNP if they believe they are the most qualified for the labor force and economy in their area. indicating that it will be simpler for them to establish themselves financially in the province

This frequently results in a greater rate of newcomer retention within a province. There are streams within each province’s PNP that specifically target applicants with particular traits or jobs. For instance, Ontario has broadened the requirements for qualifying under the International Graduate Stream to accommodate candidates who finish a one-year course of study at one of the province’s designated learning institutions.

Canada Immigration Levels Plan

According to its Immigration Levels Plan 2024–2026, Canada intends to accept 110,000 new PNPs as permanent residents in 2024. This is because both the federal and provincial governments share responsibility for immigration.

Each year, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) assigns several nominations to provinces depending on many variables, including the population infrastructure that is already in place, the demand for the labor force, and the availability of Settlement Services. Except for Quebec and Nunavut, every province and territory in Canada has PNP programs and streams. Quebec and the federal government have a different arrangement.
