JOB TITLE: Sourcing Associate
Job Description
- Firstly, Source for vendors through online research and market visitation.
- Secondly, Engage vendors to find the best products and prices available within a given market.
- Thirdly, Categorise the Vendors sourced, register them on the platform and add their complete details to the vendor’s list sheet.
- Furthermore, Assign multiple vendors to each Vendease key product.
- Additionally, Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies.
- Also, Manage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending.
- Finally, Maintain constant communication to get up-to-date prices and introduction of new product owners, so that they can focus on serving their customers. As an online marketplace, we give restaurants the opportunity to buy everything they need remotely and seamlessly from anywhere in the world.
- Proven work experience in supply or procurement.
- Then, Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment.
- Also, Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software.
- In addition, Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
- Afterwards, Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data.
- Last but not least, Solid judgment with the ability to make good decisions.
- Finally, Proficient in Microsoft Office, Slack, etc.
