Duties & Responsibilities:
- Issue and give all papers, certificates, and declarations to the company’s 4PL, Broker, and internal stakeholders in order to successfully move export and import movements through associated Customs Clearances.
- This includes, but is not limited to, Export Declarations, Certificates of Analysis, Packing Declarations, Annex 8 Manufacturing Certificates, checking and endorsing Bill of Lading, confirming/making ISPM certificates, Certificates of Conformity, checking and confirming draft CoO, EUR1, ATR, and transport documents.
- Complete all packages and make sure they are in full compliance and correct.
- Check that the final papers for exporting and importing are correct, and sign off on the broker’s and shipper’s drafts.
- Issue, check for accuracy, and send a Shippers Letter of Instruction to our 4PL and Broker Point of contact with internal partners (Region, Customer Service, delivery creators, logistic team, and Global Trade & Compliance (GTC) teams) and external partners (4PL, Brokers, shipping Lines, and hauliers), as well as liaising and coordinating with the different stakeholders on export-related matters.
- Follow the company’s document-keeping policy to make sure audits go smoothly.
- Manage export and import needs, changes, and export shipment consolidations in a proactive way.
- Other things to do with exporting: master data maintenance, reconciliation, shipment tracking, training, finding, and applying process improvements.

The Individual:
Education:
Learned German to the A Level level or higher
Experience:
- SAP R3 Experience needed
- A qualification in supply chain, customer service, or logistics is a plus.
- At least three years of experience in export/import, customer service, or a related field.
- Experience and understanding of export/import requirements, such as export documentation, export/import clearance, broker, shipping line, and haulier requirements
- knowing of OTC processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Recognizing the terms of sale and knowing how incoterms affect regulatory compliance.
- Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Applications, and Web Applications.
- It would be helpful to have experience with import processes.
