The Channel Partner Manager is in charge of ensuring constant communication with Channel Partner Leaders and their teams. You will perform joint visits throughout West/Central Africa (English-speaking region) and will actively participate on the ground in various sales events, such as trade seminars, exhibits, and product demos. This position is remote in Ghana or Nigeria.
In this position, a typical day will look like:
- Manage and develop Channel Partner (CP) strategies and day-to-day tasks, such as distribution agreements, compliance, credit control, consolidating CPs’ periodic reporting, annual targets, scorecard, RACI, forecasting, funnel management, supporting marketing initiatives, and so on, in collaboration with other functions.
- Define, maintain, and refresh CP-related processes and SOPs using a CRM system for customer contacts, activities, funnel management, and project management, as well as implementing training and development plans to streamline the existing CP Network: Assess and attract new partners, and fire any non-performing CPs.
- Collaborate with the Service team to enhance CPs’ service capabilities and accelerate deployment with end customers.
- New types of channels are being assessed and collaborated with: second-tier channels, engineering companies, system integrators, and so on.
The essential requirements of the work are:
- Willingness to go regionally up to 75%
- A bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry, biology, environmental sciences, or comparable experience
- Five years of channel management experience in a multinational B2B firm.
- 3 years of experience in a water business sales position.
