ROLE: Surface & Underground Field Technician 1

The Role
Field support (surface and underground)
- Provide technical support through the various channels.
- Conduct technical training.
- Perform first-to-market start-ups (FoM) [commissioning].
- Install where applicable.
Product Life Cycle:
- Engage in product safety-related work.
- Lead or manage duties within Continuous Product Improvement (CPI).
- Lead/perform/participate in machine testing and verification.
- Secure machine serviceability and user-friendliness
- Become a project contributor and subject-matter expert.
- Warranty handling, if applicable.
- Technical Service News Bulletins (TSNB)
- Technical documents and media:
- Review machine-specific manuals and internal Epiroc system instructions.
Review SOPs for their functionality.
- This position entails substantial foreign travel.
- Assist in ensuring product and application competency among colleagues.
- Establish and execute technical support programs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and capitalize on synergies among relevant product-related functions.
Competence, Skills, and Experience
- Service-oriented with a humble attitude.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, passion for innovation and product creation, and a desire to grow personally and professionally.
- Social communication and networking skills with a result-oriented approach.
- Technical university degree or similar experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Administrative and report-writing capabilities
- Computer literacy
- Well-organized and systematic, with the capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent application and technical knowledge
- Strong application and technical knowledge.
- Good technical understanding of the Epiroc product portfolio, both beneath and on the surface.
