POSITION SUMMARY:
- Responsible for managing the showroom and generating sales for the zone
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and supervise showroom activities for all Crop doctor and Micromec products
- Ensure well‐coordinated internal controls and record keeping systems are in place
- Ensure the volume, market share and profit growth are well established and new clients are oriented on our products and services
- Identify best partners and develop innovative distribution channels to market products and services to customers
- Support brand development and co‐ordinate promotion campaigns
- Set and track sales budgets and forecasts
- Report on sales and recovery schedules
- Periodic farm demonstrations and farmer engagements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture Technology, marketing, sales or another business related field.
- Technical and Mechanical knowledge of farm machinery will be an added advantage
- Proven track record of developing and leading high performing marketing/ sales teams at regional or national level.
- Knowledge and experience of the rural sector, farming communities, agribusiness products and distributional channels are an advantage
SKILL SET:
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Willing to be based and travel extensively across the rural communities in Ghana
- Proficient in MS-Office (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal communication (English, Twi, Ewe or Hausa, etc) and written communication including the ability to produce clear presentations and reports
