DRIVER MECHANIC AT AGBEVE HERBAL CENTRE

JOB PURPOSE: 

To drive and service vehicles as part of the implementation of the Transport Management functions of the centre.

Key Responsibilities

• In charge of making physical repairs and keeping the whole fleet in good shape;
• Make maintenance plans for the fleet. Make reports on trends and recurring problems and help come up with solutions. Share with the head of security.
• Help with vehicle maintenance and repairs when needed;
• Drive office vehicles to get authorized people where they need to go and to deliver and pick up mail, documents, and other supplies and equipment as told by supervisors;
• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle: do driver-related tasks as specified by the supervisor, make other repairs or make arrangements for outside repairs, and keep the vehicle clean and in good working order.
• Help with the annual vehicle inspection and keep track of official trips, daily mileage, and how much gas or fuel is used.
• Give advice on how to buy spare parts and help with getting quotes.
• Make sure that the steps required by the UN Rules and Regulations are taken in the event of an accident;

Role Requirements

• Secondary Education (High school or equivalent) with additional four (4) years of relevant experience is required.
