POSITION: Partnership Facilitator-II
This intermediate professional serves as Compassion’s primary liaison to local churches, responsible for enhancing their capacity and resources to minister to children and youth. They nurture respectful, trusting relationships with church partners and facilitate the Partner Management core process to improve church outcomes. The role requires independent work on moderately complex projects while possibly coaching other facilitators.
Responsibilities
- Personal Faith: Maintains a relationship with Jesus Christ and advocates for child protection, adhering to Compassion’s principles and reporting any concerns
- Church Support: Strengthens church ownership through developmental strategies, collaborating with partners to enhance youth and church outcomes. Engages families, parents, and local resources in ministry.
- Capacity Development: Works with pastors to identify development needs and mobilizes resources, fostering relationships among nearby churches.
- Needs Assessment: Gathers and organizes data on local children and youth needs.
- Planning: Assists churches in developing effective CY ministry plans, prioritizing needs and interventions.
- Implementation: Partners with CFT members to support intervention execution and monitor progress.
- Evaluation: Facilitates reflection on intervention effectiveness for future planning.
- CFT Coordination: Coordinates support tailored to each church’s needs and capacities, creating specific Facilitation Workplans for effective collaboration.
Requirements
- Belief: Maintains a close connection with Jesus Christ.
- Culture: Responsible for promoting, maintaining, and participating in Compassion’s fundamental “Cultural Behaviors” in all internal and external communications and interactions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Management, Accounting, Community Development, or a similar area.
- Experience: Three years of pertinent experience in Social Science, Management, Accounting, Community Development, or a related area.

- Effective communication abilities in both writing and speaking.
- Proficient in operating a motorcycle
