ROLE: Motion Graphics Video Editor
Job Summary
We’re looking for a professional and creative Motion Graphics Video Editor to join our team. You will be in charge of transforming raw video footage into fascinating visual narrative through the creative use of motion graphics, animations, and visual effects.
As a Motion Graphics Video Editor, you will play an important part in improving the quality and impact of our video content, ensuring that it engages and resonates with our audience.
The ability to operate the camera is a plus. Before editing, you may be necessary to take raw footage on location with a DSLR/camcorder.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and arrange video footage to form a cohesive and captivating story.
- Create and animate visually appealing motion graphics, text, logos, and other graphic components.
- Collaborate with content creators and team members to ensure video projects are consistent with our goals and vision.
- Combine visual effects, compositing, and keying techniques to produce seamless and impactful results.
- Colour correction, grading, and sound integration can all help to improve video quality.
- Manage many tasks at the same time while adhering to deadlines and schedules.
- Stay current with industry trends and innovative techniques in motion graphics and video editing.
- The ability to use a professional camera is a bonus.
Required Skill or Experience
- Proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Experience in motion graphics and animation applications (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender).
- Effective collaboration with team members and clients requires strong communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality assurance.
- Creative and artistic sensibilities to improve storytelling through graphics.
- To effectively manage many tasks, you must have strong time management and organisational skills.
- A strong desire to keep up with the latest breakthroughs in the industry.
- Professional Video Shooting Capabilities (also necessary)
