POSITION: Production Operator
Job Description
Are you an experienced Production Operator looking for a chance to join a cutting-edge, automated fractionation facility? Purpose of the Role:
This position is crucial for guaranteeing the efficient functioning of our fractionation facility. The Production Operator will oversee and manage the production process, uphold quality standards, and guarantee effective use of equipment while following safety protocols.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work together with the Shift Supervisor to enhance fractionation plant efficiency.
- Supervise and regulate all process parameters within designated limits throughout plant operation.
- Record process parameters and promptly inform the Shift Supervisor of any deviations, helping with corrective measures.
- Guarantee prompt gathering and lab examination of specimens.
- Ensure a tidy and secure workplace by cleanliness guidelines.
- Comply with and implement plant safety rules throughout operations.
- Observe equipment functionality and immediately notify about any issues.
- Support tank farm operations as required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Problem-solving skills for production issues through troubleshooting and analysis.
- Comprehension of plant processes and machinery performance concerning production and safety.
- Capability to conduct fundamental equipment upkeep (lubrication, seal/gasket replacement, pump strainer cleaning).
- Understanding of SCADA systems.
- Having the skill to interpret and comprehend P&ID diagrams is an advantage.
- Cultivate robust professional relationships, impact successfully, and promote collaboration.
- Achieve outcomes by maintaining high standards, focusing on priorities, staying organized, and managing change effectively.
Education & Experience:
- HND in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Option), or Food Technology Engineering
- At least two years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably with a background in the oil and fat sector.
Working Conditions:
- 3 shifts: Day (06:00 – 14:00), Evening (14:00 – 22:00), Night (22:00 – 06:00).
