POSITION: Senior Financial Analyst
A passionate, smart, and results-oriented analyst with the necessary skills to operate in a dynamic, challenging, and fast-paced corporate financial environment. Essentially, the analyst should be capable of providing great business and financial analysis, as well as research, to support specific projects and transactions.
Responsibilities
- Financial analysts are allocated to several project assignments and are given a broad range of responsibilities, including the following:
- Create financial models to evaluate various debt and equity financing options for deals.
- Provide valuable feedback on equity offerings, valuations, private placements, mergers & acquisitions, and other transactions.
- Compile, analyze, and publish data to explain economic occurrences and forecast market trends, utilizing financial models and methods.
- Examine corporate plans, debt capacity, competitive positioning, business strategy, critical contracts, and partnerships, as well as regulatory implications for potential mergers.
- Create cash flow estimates to simulate company processes for actual or imaginary transactions.
- Assist with the analysis of sovereign budgets and the creation of summary reports.
- Preparing and participating in company and new business presentations.
- Create transaction documents for ongoing transactions, such as business strategies, information memorandums, and teasers.
- Provide commercial and financial guidance and assistance to corporate clients, as well as public and private entities.
- Apply business, economics, financial, and analytical skills to a variety of client scenarios and practice areas.
- Analyze economic information and provide recommendations for various business and investment ventures.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline.
- ACCA, CA, and CFA are desirable.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Strong quantitative finance capabilities.
- Strong financial modelling skills.
- Strong research and professional writing skills.
- Advanced PowerPoint and presenting skills.
- High-level business acumen
- Strong math skills
- Excellent communication abilities.
